Weight Height charts are commonly found in most hospitals and clinics. These charts can also be found in gyms and most fitness centers. The idea is to adopt a scientific approach in solving a problem associated with weight. This doesn’t necessarily mean situations where one is overweight or obese. There are millions of people who are underweight for a variety of reasons and their battle to gain weight is sometime as if not tougher than for an overweight person trying to shed a few excess kilos.
There is also a version of the weight height chart known as the Growth chart which is used in pediatrics and childcare. Doctors and parents too can track the growth rate of their child by consulting these charts.
However it must be remembered that a weight height chart is not the most accurate method of measuring your health levels. But if you plan on losing or gaining weight and are at a loss as to where you should begin, then a weight height chart is a good and effective way by which you can gain a fair approximation.
